Professor Volker Hessel finalists for inaugural ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n Space Awards

The Environment Institute's is a finalists for theÌýinauguralÌýÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n Space AwardsÌýin the category. The awards recognise outstanding achievements of those participating in the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n space industry.

For the first time in ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥, Space Connect has created an awards program initiative that will showcase the nation’s best and brightest space businesses and professionals.

Recognising the leading individuals and businesses driving the development of ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥â€™s space economy, the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n Space Awards universally acknowledges all space industry stakeholders - from major listed organisations and corporates servicing ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥â€™s space economy to SMEs, start-ups, academic institutions and associations.

The awards are open to all businesses operating in ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ supporting the space industry, including telecommunications, satellite, energy, mining and transport sectors as well as the defence, agriculture, disaster and water management industries.

The awards celebrate the best of the best in ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥â€™s space industry and will recognise the outstanding contribution of professionals and businesses working within the industry across 22 categories.

The winner will be announced on 26 March 2020.
