Student Success at AQUA Conference
Late last year, researchers and students from the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide descended in Auckland for the (AQUA) conference. The AQUA conference brigs together Quarternary scientists, who researchÌýthe last 2.6 million years of Earth's history.
The AQUA conference was the largest event of its kind, with 130 presentations, including 12 from the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ of Adelaide. Our researchers received a huge amount of positive feedback, which was recognised at the awards ceremony.ÌýMartin Ankor won a $500 award for best student poster whileÌýBriony Chamberlayne won best student technical poster and a fully funded trip to a training workshop in Wellington next year.
