Course Code PETROGEO 7022 Course Petroleum Geoscience: MSc Research Project Coordinating Unit ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥n School of Petroleum & Energy Resources Term Semester 2 Level Postgraduate Coursework Location/s North Terrace Campus Units 6 Contact Regular supervisory meetings will be held between students and their supervisors throughout Semester 2. The exact timing and frequency of meetings will vary between students and supervisors, to suit, but is typically either weekly or fortnightly. Available for Study Abroad and Exchange N Prerequisites PETROGEO 7010, 7011, 7012, 7013 Corequisites PETROL 7020, 7021 Assessment As well as assessment of the thesis, which constitutes the major aspect of assessment of this course, a research proposal and oral presentation of the thesis are also assessed. Student Feedback
The ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ places a high priority on approaches to learning and teaching that enhance the student experience. Feedback is sought from students in a variety of ways including on-going engagement with staff, the use of online discussion boards and the use of Student Experience of Learning and Teaching (SELT) surveys as well as GOS surveys and Program reviews.
SELTs are an important source of information to inform individual teaching practice, decisions about teaching duties, and course and program curriculum design. They enable the ÐÓ°ÉÖ±²¥ to assess how effectively its learning environments and teaching practices facilitate student engagement and learning outcomes.
